What better item to bring to the breakfast table for Valentine’s Day than heart shaped cinnamon rolls? My son loves them and this mama loves them even more because all it takes it make these delicious treats is some store bought cinnamon rolls! (+ some sprinkles if you feel like going the extra mile!)

Cinnamon Rolls 1

I used the Pillsbury brand cinnamon rolls. Start by unwinding each roll, leaving the center rolled on one end. Roll the other end to make the other half of your “heart”. Pinch a section of the roll to make the tip a bit more pointed or heart-like.

Bake as directed on packaging. Cinnamon rolls are a breakfast favorite at our house because I can bake them fresh in 20 minutes or less!

Heat up your icing for 10-15 seconds and drizzle over your freshly baked cinnamon rolls! Some Pillsbury packages include the icing!

Jax loves to add sprinkles to his while I like them as plain old cinnamon rolls with icing! I found these Wilton Decorating Sprinkles that come in many cute Valentine’s Day themed shapes. Roses, hearts, lips, X&O’s, arrows & hearts, and cupcakes. My favorite are the X&O’s!
